Notice is hereby given that a meeting of Bradford on Tone Parish Council will be held on Tuesday
12th March 2024, commencing at 7.30pm, in the Chant Room, Bradford on Tone Village Hall for
the purpose of transacting the business listed on the Agenda below.
All members of the Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend the meeting.
Members of the public are invited to ask questions or raise issues relevant to Bradford On Tone
as part of the item on the Agenda called Public Participation. The overall time available for
public participation is restricted to 15 Minutes unless the Chair decides otherwise. Individual
speakers are restricted to 3 minutes and are asked not to repeat points that have been made
previously.

Apologies for absence
To receive apologies for absence from Councillors unable to attend the meeting.
3.
Declarations of Interest/Dispensations
To receive any Declarations of Interest from Councillors and Officers in respect of matters
to be considered at this meeting, together with an appropriate statement regarding the
nature of the interest.
Councillors and Officers are reminded of the requirement to declare any interest, including
the type of interest, and reason for that interest, either at this stage of the meeting or as
soon as they become aware of that interest.

To approve the draft minutes of the meeting held on 19 January 2024.

Public Participation
To allow members of the public present at the meeting to raise matters which are relevant
to Bradford on Tone and / or the work of the Council.

To receive a report regarding recent meetings of the LCN.

To consider and agree the Parish Council’s response to any planning applications within the
parish or impacting upon it.

To receive any news / information regarding pubic footpaths within the parish.
12. Clerk’s Progress Report
The Clerk will report on action taken / progress regarding items raised at previous
meetings.; this is likely to include bus shelter cleaning, new dog bin, overhanging hedges.
In accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, members of the public
and press are very welcome to attend the meeting. Members of the public will only be
permitted to speak during the Public Participation Session listed on the Agenda (unless they are
attending to give a presentation on a specific agenda item at the Chair’s request).
Members are reminded that the Council has a general duty to consider the following matters in
the exercise of any of its functions. There are nine protected characteristics under the 2010
Equality Act (age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation,
marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity), Crime and Disorder, Health and
Safety, Human Rights and Data Protection Regulations.
