commencing at 7.30pm, in the Chant Room, Bradford on Tone Village Hall

The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting but there were no other announcements.

There were no apologies for absence as all Councillors were present.

No Declarations of Interest were made at this stage of the meeting.

Minutes
Consideration was given to the draft minutes of the meeting held on 9 January 2024.
RESOLVED that the draft minutes of the meeting held on 9 January 2024 be confirmed as a
correct record.

Public Participation
This agenda item enables members of the public present at the meeting to raise matters
which are relevant to Bradford on Tone and / or the work of the Council.
Speaker 1
The clock on the church tower is a useful thing for the village but the motor has gone and it
is hoped that the Parish Council will make a donation to the repair.
Speaker 2
The hedge is very overgrown between Three Elms and the drive way to the business units.

Consideration was given to implementing the 2023 pay award for the Town Clerk,
backdated to April 2023.
RESOLVED that the 2023 pay award is implemented for the Town Clerk and backdated to
April 2023.

RESOLVED that the expenditure budget for 2024/2025 be £10,925.00

Consideration was given to the level of the Parish Council’s precept for 2024/25
RESOLVED that Parish Council’s Precept for 24/25 is £10,925
26/2024 Banking Arrangements
Consideration was given to the Council’s banking arrangements including the banking
institutions used and the account signatories.
RESOLVED (i)
That the Parish Council’s current account is moved from Nat West to Lloyds Bank
(ii)
That the signatories on the Lloyds account are Councillors David Smith, Georgina
Robarts and Leigh Sidhu

Bus Shelter Cleaning
To consider which bus shelters fall within the jurisdiction of the Parish Council

RESOLVED that the Clerk is delegated to get prices and agree a maximum expenditure of
£250.00 for cleaning the 2 bus shelters on either side of the road near the
Worlds end public house.
