The Parish Council receives a precept, which is part of the Council Tax paid by each household. The precept is set very year by the parish council and is calculated by working out the estimated income and expenditure and ensuring that there are sufficient funds available for contingencies (unexpected items or emergencies).

In addition the Parish Council receives annual grants towards the upkeep of the churchyard and maintenance of the public rights of way network in the parish.

The Parish Council has its accounts and processes audited by an independent person appointed by the Parish Council (internal auditor) and a person appointed in accordance with legislation (external auditor).
